The Baltimore Ravens are currently 6-2 and tied atop the AFC Conference with the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars. While there has been a lack of consistency with Baltimore in general, they have pulled out wins and made sure to stay firmly in the drivers seat in the AFC North as well.
After the Ravens’ Week 8 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews was asked about if he believes the Ravens should be considered among the top teams in the AFC. He talked about how he believes this version of the team is special, and they need to continue to work to get better week in and week out.
“Do I think that we have incredible players? Yes, I do. This team is special, and I think anybody that watches our games can see that. The caliber of players at every position that we have is special, and that includes the coaching staff. So, we’re never satisfied, this is just the beginning. The last three weeks, we’ve been turning that leaf over and getting better and better. So, for us, just continuing to work, focusing on ourselves, tune out all the outside noise. That doesn’t matter to us, we’re just worried about ourselves and getting better.”
