Ravens TE Mark Andrews talks about differences in team’s routine after injury-filled 2021 season

The Baltimore Ravens went through a rather injury-riddled 2021 season, finishing the year at 8-9 and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2017. They had to shuffle their roster countless times due to players being out with ailments, and it contributed to the lack of consistency that the team had throughout the campaign.

Baltimore kicked off their first session of voluntary organized team activities last week, and following Wednesday’s session multiple members of the organization talked to the media. Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was asked about if he’s noticed any differences in the way things are done, and he said that the organization is making an extra effort to do certain things.

“I think they’re making an effort to do certain things – make extra warmups, stretch more, just the schedule throughout the day. [They’re] just being mindful of how we’re feeling, where we’re at in the year. There’s a long season ahead; there’s a long year ahead. It’s not a race, it’s a marathon. So, I think they’re doing a great job of being mindful of that, which is awesome to see.”
