The Baltimore Ravens have focused on building a winning roster during the 2023 offseason. They’ve made a few big splashes that include re-signing quarterback Lamar Jackson and signing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but they also made moves around the margins that should be key as the 2023 season goes on.
Baltimore placed an emphasis on re-signing their own players over the early part of the offseason. When special teams coordinator Chris Horton was asked about the players the team brought back such as running back Justice Hill, inside linebackers Del’Shawn Phillips and Kristin Welch, as well as cornerback Daryl Worley, he expressed his excitement over the group.
“It’s a great building block for us – to have those guys around – because they understand the culture, they understand what we’re looking for. And then when we bring those young guys in and incorporate them into that group, it just carries onto what we’re trying to get done. Having all those guys back … They all play well for us. That’s our group. And all those guy … We look forward to just having those guys around and getting them out there and letting them continue to work.”
