A mysterious object spotted during SpaceX's historic Starship flight sent viewers scrambling for explanations after it appeared to glide across the company's livestream, prompting one astonished reaction: 'We just saw an alien mothership.'
The sighting came as Starship Flight 14 lifted off from SpaceX's Starbase facility in South Texas on 28 September. The mission was already historic: Starship reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 next-generation Starlink V3 satellites, marking a major step beyond the suborbital test flights that preceded it.
