The Baltimore Ravens selected safety Kyle Hamilton with the 14th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. He was a player that was expected to fall nowhere near Baltimore in the draft, but the team took advantage of the slide for the former Notre Dame star and added him to an already talented defense.
Hamilton has shown some flashes during 2022 training camp, but on Wednesday had to leave practice with apparent cramping. However in good news, the safety returned to the practice field on Thursday, easing any doubts that he might have to miss some time to heal up.

Hamilton is expected to play a big role on the Ravens’ defense, and will be working in tandem with a few other very talented safeties such as Marcus Williams and Chuck Clark. There have been times where Hamilton has looked like a rookie in camp, but that’s natural for first-year players, especially in the first few weeks of getting acclimated to the NFL game. He is an extremely talented player that should have a successful career as a professional for many years.
