The Baltimore Ravens have seen quarterback Lamar Jackson and wide receiver Zay Flowers establish an immense amount of chemistry over the course of the last few seasons. Baltimore has gotten everything and more after selecting Flowers with the No. 22 pick last year, and the second-year pro has grown each and every week.
When asked about Flowers, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said it was hard to pinpoint exactly where he’s made changes to be even better. However, he called the second-year pro “one of a kind”, listing off a number of qualities that make Flowers so unique.
“It’s hard to pinpoint to speak on what [Zay Flowers has] changed to make him even better. He’s one of a kind. He’s just that type of player – getting open, making guys miss after he catches the ball, scoring from anywhere on the field – that’s just him.”
Flowers has quickly become the No. 1 receiver in the Baltimore offense, and dominates opposing defense with his unique blend of speed, separation ability and route running. He will look to continue his fast start to his career, as the Ravens need him to keep getting better and growing with Jackson as a duo.
