Ravens QB Lamar Jackson on TE Mark Andrews: ‘That’s my big bro’

The Baltimore Ravens are facing off against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, looking to advance to their third Super Bowl in franchise history. Baltimore finished the 2023 regular season at 13-4, and have no intention of letting their performance go to waste with a dud in the playoffs.

“It would mean a lot. That’s my – like I said – bread and butter, big bro, and it would definitely mean a lot. We’ve already got guys who’ve stepped up, like [Isaiah] Likely, ‘Bate’ [Rashod Bateman], ‘OB’ [Odell Beckham Jr.], ‘Nelly’ [Nelson Agholor]. We’ve got Charlie [Kolar]. We’ve got all these guys that [have] stepped up. But with Mark [Andrews] and the type of guy he is, the type of caliber player he is, and what he brings to the table for us, it would definitely mean a lot for us.”

A big storyline heading into the contest is tight end Mark Andrews returning from what was believed to be a season-ending injury in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was asked about getting Andrews back in the fold for the AFC Championship game and called him his “bread and butter” and “big bro”.
