Ravens OT Ronnie Stanley raves about Tyler Linderbaum

The Baltimore Ravens selected center Tyler Linderbaum with the 25th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Widely regarded as the best center prospect the league had seen coming out of college in years, Linderbaum has certainly lived up to that billing over his first two professional seasons.

When asked about Linderbaum, Baltimore offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley gave him massive praise in his leadership role but also discussed how important it is for him to take another step in his communication role. The veteran mentioned how Linderbaum has been clean and sharp with everything he does, and is making everything as clear as possible.

“Tyler [Linderbaum], he’s always been a leader [ever] since he’s been here. As a center, you kind of have to step into that role because you really are the eyes and ears of the whole line. You’re the epicenter of everything going on. This year, he’s just taking another step in his communication role. He’s always been clean and sharp with everything he’s said to us, and I think he’s continuing to just make sure everything is as clear as possible.”

Linderbaum has been a steady force on the interior of the Ravens’ offensive line, which is even more of a big deal now that the team needs to replace both of their starting guards from last season. Being a center carries big responsibilities, and Linderbaum has embraced them so far.
