The Baltimore Ravens selected offensive tackle Daniel Faalele with the No. 110 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. The former University of Minnesota star was mocked rather consistently to Baltimore at pick No. 45, but he slid into the fourth round, where the Ravens happily scooped him up.
During Faalele’s introductory press conference, he was asked if he was excited to be back with wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who was his former college teammate. Faalele talked a bit about his excitement to be reunited with Bateman, revealing that the two were roommates for a time from his sophomore through junior year.
“I’m super excited. Rashod [Bateman] was actually my roommate my sophomore through junior year. So, I’m super excited to connect with him again and be on the same team. We have a good relationship.”
