Ravens OC Todd Monken reportedly turned down Buccaneers OC job

The Baltimore Ravens officially hired Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken for their offensive coordinator job, ending a weeks-long search that the team announced involved 14 candidates and 21 interviews. Monken brings a plethora of coaching experience at both the NFL and college levels, something that Baltimore seemed to covet.

After the hiring was announced, many different aspects of how the partnership became official began to be reported on. Albert Breer of NFL Network reported that Monken turned down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator job, with Jeremy Fowler of ESPN echoing the same message, saying Monken had several options as an NFL offensive coordinator.
