The Baltimore Ravens have an incredible safety duo in Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams. Their skill sets play perfectly off one another, and they can’t be denied as one of the best safeties in the NFL.
Williams expressed confidence in himself and his teammate when asked about playing in the same defensive backfield as Hamilton. He talked about how rankings and performance from last season don’t mean anything, but the expectation is to be the best.
“Rankings don’t mean anything. Performance from last year is not performance from this year. We know what we can do. We know what type of players we are. We’re confident in ourselves. I mean, I think I’m the best; [Kyle Hamilton] thinks he’s the best; everybody thinks they’re the best. But who performs the best? So, I think our expectation is to be our best, to excel past our best and go out there and perform and help us win some games.”
Both Williams and Hamilton are critical components of Baltimore’s defense. Their presence on the back end makes it much more difficult for opposing quarterbacks to make mistakes on throws and pass catchers to get open.
