Ravens HC John Harbaugh expects QB Lamar Jackson to be at mandatory minicamp

The Baltimore Ravens are in the third and final week of their 2022 voluntary organized team activities, with mandatory minicamp happening shortly thereafter. The workouts have given players and coaches the opportunity to get even more familiar with each other, as every snap is important in the long grind of a season.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh took to the podium to speak to the media after practice on Wednesday, and was asked about quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was once again absent from OTAs. Despite Jackson not being there for voluntary workouts, Harbaugh said that he expects the signal caller to be back for mandatory minicamp.

Although Jackson hasn’t been present at the voluntary workouts, he’s posted multiple videos on social media showing him training and working out. Each player can opt to not to show up for OTAs due to them being voluntary, and Jackson has exercised that option. If he’s back for minicamp like Harbaugh expects, he’ll be able to start building chemistry with his teammates and coaches, both new and old.
