The Baltimore Ravens are set to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18 of the 2022 season. They will have a tough task ahead of them, especially with the uncertainty surrounding their quarterback position.
Fifth-year signal caller Lamar Jackson won’t play on Sunday for the fifth straight game after suffering a knee injury in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. Quarterback Tyler Huntley could suit up in the game, but he’s been dealing with shoulder and wrist issues. When asked about the status of Huntley, head coach John Harbaugh discussed the quarterback’s injuries while expressing hope that he could play on Sunday.
“[Tyler Huntley] could play Sunday. Yes, he has a tendentious issue in his shoulder and things. So, we just decided not to put him through that. He’s been involved in all the walkthroughs; he’s been involved in all the mental work. So, I think there’s a really good chance he could play on Sunday, but again, if that doesn’t happen, then it doesn’t happen. So, [I’m] hopeful for that.”
Whether it’s Huntley or third-string quarterback Anthony Brown behind center, they will need to help guide the Baltimore offense to plenty of points. The Cincinnati offense has hit their stride over the last few months, and the Ravens will need to keep up with the Bengals with their own offensive unit.
