The Baltimore Ravens have made sure to pride themselves on special teams over the course of their franchise history. They have had plenty of players and coaches come in and preach how important that aspect of the game is, and it has paid off in a big way.
During his end of season press conference, Baltimore general manager Eric DeCosta talked about how special teams coordinator Chris Horton is to the organization.
“He’s great. He’s great. He’s an excellent coach. [He has] a great personality [and] is experienced as a player. I think players relate to him very well. He’s detailed. He’s passionate. The only thing he can’t do is beat me on the Peloton, really. That’s about the only thing he can’t do, but other than that, he’s great in my mind.” (laughter)
