The Baltimore Ravens will look to the 2022 NFL draft in order to improve their roster. They have plenty of draft picks to maneuver up and down the draft board, so general manager Eric DeCosta should be active in and around the draft festivities.
In his latest 2022 NFL mock draft, Drae Harris of The Draft Network has Baltimore bolstering their edge rusher room with Travon Walker, the star out of the University of Georgia. When explaining his choice for the Ravens, Harris talked about how disruptive of a player he is.
“Travon Walker is a disruptive player who has the frame to add a few pounds to increase his effectiveness. Although he’s played on the edge, he’s likely better suited reduced down inside. Calais Campbell, Justin Houston, and Brandon Williams all could take their services elsewhere. Walker could fill the void at DT or on the edge.”
Walker had 61 total tackles and 9.5 sacks during his collegiate career. He has great explosion at the start of snaps and can push offensive linemen back with his pure power. He’s a very athletic player, and would be a steal at pick No. 14 if Baltimore is able to get him there.
