The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of talent on their roster that should be able to make a massive impact during the 2022 season. Not only do they have many different stars, but their depth will make it much easier for the team to manage snaps and get the most out of almost all of their positional groups.
One unit in Baltimore that has no shortage of quality contributors is on the defensive line. When putting together a mock 2022 NFL expansion draft, Alex Kay of Bleacher Report had Ravens defensive lineman Broderick Washington be one of the selections on the defensive front, alongside Philadelphia Eagles star Fletcher Cox. When explaining why, Kay talked about Washington’s upside and how it meshes with Cox’s veteran status.
“Broderick Washington is on the other side of the spectrum, having accomplished little in his career thus far but offering plenty of upside at the age of 25…The third-year veteran hasn’t established himself as a regular starter for the Ravens but could play that role with a brand-new club. His development would be further expedited under Cox’s tutelage.”
