The Baltimore Ravens have put together a 6-3 record through 10 weeks of the 2022 season so far. They’ve had impressive wins and heartbreaking losses, but are now on a three-game winning streak as they look to continue to build on their momentum moving forward.
One of the key reasons why Baltimore has been able to turn a corner over the last handful of games has been defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald. The first-year NFL defensive coordinator talked about his evolution as the season has progressed, looking at things his defense has done well and hasn’t done well.
“Yes, it’s a fun process to kind of go back and see how you’ve evolved over the course of the first eight or nine weeks. There are definitely things that you get a feel for. What we’re doing well, we’re trying to accentuate that and build on that. There are some things that we learned that we don’t do so well, so we want to stay away from those. And there are some things that we’re not doing well that we need to improve on. So, that’s kind of what the whole process is about, and just making sure we’ve got the right guys in the right spots, as we kind of turn the corner here in the back half.”
