The Baltimore Ravens will take on the New York Jets to open the 2022 season. The team suffered a plethora of injuries in 2021 that saw some players miss some or all of the year, with some of those same names headlining the injury report heading into the team’s season-opener this season.
On Sunday, Baltimore released their inactives list. Many players listed had a “questionable” tag heading into the week, but the Ravens have opted to take the precautious route with some of their talent including running back J.K. Dobbins, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and cornerback Marcus Peters.

After plenty of optimism leading into the week on both, the Ravens have decided to rest Dobbins and Peters. Both suffered season-ending injuries in 2021 and Baltimore clearly did not feel it was time for them to be back on the field. The team also announced on Saturday that offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee) would not be playing in Week 1 and on Friday that Travis Jones (knee) would also not be suiting up. Tight end Nick Boyle and Daniel Faalele will also not play in the season-opener.
The Jets also announced their inactives, headlined by quarterback Zach Wilson.
