One of Bristol's biggest all-day raves has confirmed its plans for this year, spread across multiple venues in Old Market. Rave on Avon is back for its 13th edition to showcase 16 hours of the very best of Bristol's underground and rising music talent - with a line-up of 50 acts.
In 2019, Bristol Live reported on the moment thousands descended on the streets of Stokes Croft for an impromptu rave in line with the festival. The mass multi-venue rave first took place 12 years ago but with Stokes Croft becoming increasingly gentrified, organisers of the legendary event announced decided to relocate the event in recent years.
This year promises to be its biggest yet, with stages inside and outside Trinity Centre on Saturday, May 20 from 2pm until 4am. Lost Horizon will also be sharing the love and offering music throughout the day - with separate after parties at Lost Horizon from 9pm and Dare To Club from 11pm.

Rave On Avon Director Lee Pattison said: "We are doing an all day and night takeover in Old Market for the first time, centering around Trinity Centre with a big soundsystem in the gardens and also DJs inside the main hall. We also have Pizzarova and La Panza serving amazing food all day. And look out for a big wheel in the grounds!
"Over at Lost Horizon you can find Bristol's favourite house and queer brands all day long and a very special techno afterparty long into the night. And of course, other garage, bass, jungle and DNB after parties in venues around the area."
The line-up features around 50 artists from multiple genres including Bristol's leading Drum & Bass DJ Krust and techno icon Dave Angel.
"Our headliner - Krust, a Bristol DNB legend that we are very excited to have; Dave Angel one of the UK's pioneering techno legends, and two upcoming stars, Mia Lily and Prozak. We have another massive lineup of nearly 50 acts," Lee added.
