Rate the Sunderland players after their League One promotion winning campaign

Sunderland ended their four year stint in League One with a 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley. It was a tactical masterclass from Alex Neil, who ensured the Black Cats would be playing Championship football next season.

There have been times throughout the campaign where promotion looked nothing more than a dream, but Neil has come in and steadied the ship - succeeding where others have failed. Having lost just once since his arrival, it seemed almost destiny that the Black Cats would be triumphant at Wembley.

Ross Stewart and Alex Pritchard have been among the standout performers for the Black Cats this season with the former of those two scooping the gong for the League One Fans' Player of the Year. As for Pritchard, he was instrumental in setting up the Scot in the final to all but secure Championship football.
