LIverpool returned to winning ways tonight with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Rangers in the Champions League at Anfield.
A superb first-half free-kick from Trent Alexander-Arnold and a second-half penalty from Mohamed Salah sealed a deserved victory for the dominant hosts, who would have scored more had it not been for the heroics of Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
In contrast, McGregor's opposite number, Allison Becker, didn't have a serious save to make until late on as Jurgen Klopp's side bounced back from Saturday's disappointing 3-3 draw at home to Brighton in the Premier League.
