Liverpool are in the fourth round of the FA Cup after claiming a hard fought win over Wolves.
Harvey Elliott scored Liverpool’s one and only goal of the contest to win the tie for Liverpool. They will now play Brighton in the fourth round of the competition.
Elliott’s goal came in the first half of the contest to break the deadlock. The 19-year-old carried the ball from inside his own half to run at the Wolves defence, before firing his effort beyond the reach of goalkeeper Jose Sa from well outside the penalty area.

Jurgen Klopp had made eight changes from the team that had lost to Brighton in the Premier League at the weekend. Only Thiago Alcantara, Ibrahima Konate and Cody Gakpo retained their spots.

Liverpool’s next match sees them return to Premier League action this weekend. The Reds welcome Chelsea to Anfield, as they look to win their first top flight match since December 30.
