Rate My Takeaway's Danny Malin makes exciting career announcement

Rate My Takeaway YouTube star Danny Malin has shared an "exciting" announcement with fans.

The Leeds-based star will be presenting the Back on the Road Again show on LDC radio every Tuesday from 1pm-4pm.

Danny, who is originally from Barnsley, has gained fame over the years with his popular YouTube show where he reviews different restaurants and takeaways across the country.

For Christmas last year, Danny even dropped a hit single, “Santa’s Takeaway" in a bid to raise money for food bank charity Trussell Trust and mental health foundation MIND.

Sharing the news, he said: “Now then guys, here's something I’ve been waiting to announce! I’ll be presenting the Back on the Road Again show from 1pm-4pm every Tuesday on LDC!

“Plenty of exciting things coming up (sic) so make sure to tune in each week. Very excited!”

Danny was flooded with support from fans after he shared the new on Facebook.

Zoë Howard said: “How exciting!! Looking so forward to tuning in each week Danny, well done.”

Shane Thomas also said: “Have a Kebab or 2, you deserve it dude.”

Beth Wright added: “Best of luck to you and I'll be listening in!”

Danny marked the one-year anniversary of his fiancée's sudden death last week with a heartbreaking family photo.

Carrie, 40, died in hospital a day after suffering from a heart attack.

In an emotional tribute shared on Facebook, he said: "Today marks a year since you left gained your wings and joined others in heaven.

"It’s been so hard every moment of every day not seeing your smile hearing your laugh and touching your skin.

"Me and the kids miss you dearly and do so more every day."
