A first-round pick by Seattle in 2018, Penny finally delivered on his potential in the stretch run of the 2021 season and started 2022 hot before another major injury put him on the sidelines for the season. The Seahawks finally punted on Penny this offseason, allowing him to leave in free agency.
Penny eventually signed with the Eagles, immediately making him a fascinating boom-or-bust candidate. Philadelphia has the best offensive line in the business by a galaxy or two, and it’s not hard to imagine a healthy Penny absolutely thriving in their offense.
