A large farm in Northumberland has been put up for sale for £5.85m.
Hepburn Farm, which covers 580 acres and lies north of Alnwick, includes a main farmhouse, a four bedroom stone-built cottage and an extensive range of traditional and modern farm buildings. The farm has 433 acres of productive arable land, 110 acres of mowing and grazing land, plus woodland.
The three-bedroomed main farmhouse was refurbished in 1997, while a former row of three cottages has been converted into one home. A viewing day will be held for people interested in seeing the property - which is being sold by estate agents Savills - on September 26.

Andrew Black, director and head of rural agency for Northern England at Savills, said: “This highly productive commercial and residential farm situated in northern Northumberland provides a rare opportunity for prospective buyers.
“Beyond the wonderful family home and its beautiful surroundings, the additional cottage offers potential ancillary or letting accommodation. The farm is also well positioned, benefitting from good transport links and has already attracted early enquiries. We’re confident that there will be a strong degree of interest in this farm over the coming weeks.”
Savills say that arrangements to farm the land can be made if the purchaser does not wish to do that personally.
