The hits keep on coming for Oklahoma City Thunder fans.
Despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander making it known he knew what he signed up for with the Thunder, the Toronto Raptors buzz that has been circulating on the web continues to grow.
TSN reported on Wednesday the Raptors will continue to closely monitor Gilgeous-Alexander’s situation. The Raptors have been penciled in as the favorite to land the 24-year-old if he were to become available due to home ties.
Then later that day, official Raptors ambassador Drake posted on his Instagram story a photo of Gilgeous-Alexander in his Team Canada uniform — muddying the waters on whether this can be considered tampering — an offense the Raptors have previously been fined for because of Drake.
Regardless whether anything comes out of Drake posting about Gilgeous-Alexander in a not-so-subtle bid to convince him to request a trade to the Raptors, trade-talk rumors surrounding 24-year-old will continue.
