Popular hip-hop artist Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, tragically passed away at the age of 33 due to an accidental drug overdose, as confirmed by the medical examiner's office in Georgia. The official report revealed that Quan's death was caused by a combination of drugs including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine.

Quan's body was discovered without any signs of trauma, leading authorities to rule his death as accidental. His brother recounted finding Quan seemingly asleep on the kitchen floor before realizing something was amiss. Subsequently, a woman called the police after noticing that Quan was unresponsive and cold.
