Rapid rail between Lucknow and Kanpur, outer ring road planned for State Capital Region: Adityanath

Lucknow Unnao Yogi Adityanath Kanpur Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said a rapid rail corridor between Lucknow and Kanpur via Unnao and an outer ring road connecting the proposed State Capital Region areas are being planned to boost development.

Addressing a gathering here after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 101 development projects worth over Rs 570 crore, he said the district has been included in the Lucknow State Capital Region and development of Lucknow would no longer remain confined to areas like Hazratganj.
