Leeds United may face a mass exodus this summer after their relegation from the Premier League, with many of the current squad potentially in the shop window in the coming months as they try to force moves.
But how did the players who left Leeds last summer fare last season? We take a look at those that left on permanent deals during the summer of 2022, plus a couple of the more high-profile loan exits from Elland Road.
Raphinha
The Brazilian left Leeds last summer in a record sale for the club, joining Barcelona for £55 million after an impressive two-year spell at Elland Road.

His Barcelona side won La Liga but were knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage and fell in the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey to rivals Real Madrid.
The winger has enjoyed a decent season personally with the Catalan club, finding the net on 10 occasions and assisting on 12 in all competitions. But Raphinha could be on the move again, with a return to England possible and Bayern Munich links refusing to go away amid the Catalans' ongoing financial worries.
Kalvin Phillips
The hometown boy left the Whites to join Manchester City last summer in a £45 million move, after making 235 appearances for Leeds.
Phillips collected Premier League and FA Cup winners' medals and could yet be a part of a historic treble-winning side. But he has barely featured in Pep Guardiola’s plans this season, starting just twice in the Premier League at the back end of the season.
The midfielder signed a six-year deal with the Citizens, but injuries and the form of Rodri have largely curtailed his first season at the club. Despite being linked with a move away from the Etihad, Phillips looks set to stay and fight for his place, hoping to follow the example set by the likes of Jack Grealish, who has excelled in his second season under Pep Guardiola.
Leif Davis
The left-back joined Ipswich Town last summer for an undisclosed fee, becoming the third player Leeds sold permanently last year.
He had a hugely successful season in England’s third tier, playing a massive part in the club's promotion to the Championship.
Davis played 43 times for Ipswich, scoring three and assisting 14 in League One, which saw him named in the League One team of the year. He looks set to return to Elland Road with the Tractor Boys next season.
Dan James
The Welshman left Leeds on loan to join London side Fulham on deadline day last summer, after being deemed surplus to Jesse Marsch’s requirements.
Game time had largely been from the bench for James, who made just five starts for the Cottagers. In his 20 League appearances for Fulham, he scored just two goals.
James will return to Elland Road after his loan expires and it will be interesting to see if he is reintegrated back into the side under a new boss or if he moves on.
Helder Costa
Costa has spent his last two seasons on loan away from Elland Road, with his most recent move at Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.
His Saudi side beat Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr to the Saudi Pro League title last season, with Costa scoring three times.
He never lived up to the £16 million spent on him by Leeds, and he looks set to leave permanently this summer.
Tyler Roberts
Roberts signed for QPR on loan last season, but injuries prevented him making a real impact at the London side.
His season never really got going, and the striker scored only three goals for QPR, who ended up finishing just above the relegation zone.
Roberts’ season effectively ended in January when an injury saw him only return for one game before the end of the season in which he made the bench. He among others looks set to depart Elland Road this summer.
