Ranking the 5 best players left on Georgia’s schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have one of the most difficult remaining schedules in the country. Georgia is slated to play two ranked opponents in Ole Miss and Tennessee. The Dawgs also have games against a another pair of Power Four opponents with winning records in Florida and Georgia Tech.

Who are the five most impactful players that Georgia has to face for the rest of the season?

1. Dylan Sampson

If there was an award for most important player in the SEC it goes to the Tennessee Volunteers running back Dylan Sampson. He has been the engine for this offense.

He leads the SEC in scoring as a running back. He averages 14 points per game by himself. Sampson is the most dynamic player that Georgia will play for the rest of the schedule. His 17 touchdowns ties for second the nation with Heisman front-runner Ashton Jeanty. Sampson is a hard-nosed runner that has the ability to stay after first contact that makes his special.

2. Tre Harris

Ole Miss Rebels wide receiver Tre Harris is arguably the most dynamic receiver in the SEC. Harris makes a significant impact within Lane Kiffin’s system.

Harris has accounted for 987 yard which leads the nation in receiving yards. In this Ole Miss offense, Harris is alpha in the Ole Miss receiver unit and anytime they need a positive impact through the air, Harris is their number one target. He has shown that he what it takes to be the WR1 in the 2025 NFL draft. The Georgia secondary will have their hands full with Harris.

3. Jaxson Dart

Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart is the quarterback that has the most ability to take over a game in all of the Georgia’s remaining matchups. Dart has the dual-threat ability that has given this Bulldog defense trouble in the past.

With the game being at home against Georgia there will be an exceeding amount of confidence. Dart is third in the nation in passing yards with 2,384 yards through the air. He has four 300 passing yard performances this season. Dart has already seen this Bulldog defense once already in his career with their matchup in 2023. Familiarity might help Dart’s game plan to attack the Bulldogs.

4. Jamal Haynes

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been vastly improving since Brent Key has been at the helm. Running back Jamal Haynes has been another reason why this team has been trending upwards. He is a complete back to where if they have to lean on the run game they will or even need to use him as a pass catcher.

Haynes has sights on another 1,000 rushing yard season already having accumulated 559 yards on the ground so far. In the matchup last year   Haynes helped the Yellow Jackets rush all over the Bulldogs’ defense last year.

5. Nico Iamaleava

Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Nico Iamaleava is a someone that can have a lot of impact. Although he has not had the best season statistically the talent is there for Iamaleava. He will be asked to create plays and make those plays that can be a difference-making in the Nov. 16 matchup. He has shown capability to push the ball down the field vertically and led to success for this prolific Tennessee offense, which recently upset Alabama.
