The truth of the matter is: Every team should be interested in trading for Ben Simmons as the saga between him and the Philadelphia 76ers stretches toward the 2022 NBA trade deadline on Feb. 10.
But there’s more truth — not EVERY team can trade for him. What’s more, there are franchises who are contending with what they’ve got, and they should be content with perhaps not disturbing the chemistry with a star of Simmons’ caliber. And then there are rebuilding squads who should stay the course and not deal their promising future stars.
