NAGPUR: Aditya Sarvate essayed the role of a one-man army as Vidarbha cantered to a big win against Manipur in Ahmedabad. The allrounder scored more runs than any of his teammates, snapped up most wickets to guide Vidarbha to win inside two days. With two wins in as many matches, the former champions moved to the top of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group ‘A’ with 13 points.
Before the Manipur match Vidarbha skipper Akshay Wadkar had talked about earning the bonus point. Sarvate, the vice-captain, singlehandedly achieved the target set by the skipper.
