MUMBAI: As expected, Mumbai beat Baroda on the basis of first innings lead to make to the semi-final of the Ranji Trophy at BKC on Tuesday, but not before something special happened on the morning of the fifth and final day.

Tanush Kotian (120 not out, 129b, 10x4, 2x6) and Tushar Deshpande (123, 129b, 10x6, 8x4) logged the first instance of the No 10 and No 11 batsmen making centuries in the same innings in the Ranji Trophy.
