Rangers Women assistant coach Craig McPherson has issued an apology after an alleged headbutt incident following their game against Celtic earlier this week.
A strike from Celtic's Caitlin Hayes nine minutes into added time clinched a last-gasp draw in the Old Firm and denied Rangers all three points. The match was marred by ugly scenes at full time where McPherson appeared to try to headbutt Celtic head coach Fran Alonso.
Police in Scotland have opened an investigation and the coach is also facing charges from the Scottish FA. McPherson has now broken his silence on the incident and says he will accept whatever punishment the governing body deem appropriate.
