Rangers and St Johnstone battle it out once again this weekend but this time it is league points on offer.
The Premiership duo faced off last weekend at McDiarmid Park in the Scottish Cup fourth round with Michael Beale's men coming out on top by a single goal after Borna Barisic's first goal in two years secured a 1-0 victory in Perth. It was a close fought game but it was the Light Blues who advanced to the last 16 and kept hopes of retaining the famous old trophy alive.
It is back to Premiership action this time around with the grand prize of three points to the winner. The Ibrox men are yet to taste defeat under the new management regime and have shown their powers of recovery on more than once occasion under Beale. Todd Cantwell has also arrived this week as a first signing of the January window with the 24-year-old set to add further strength and depth to the midfield ranks. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Premiership clash between Rangers and St Johnstone.
