Rangers vs Celtic Scottish Cup semi-final details confirmed as date and time set for Hampden derby

Rangers and Celtic have discovered the details for their Scottish Cup semi-final showdown.

The Old Firm rivals will lock horns in the last four as they both bid to reach the season showpiece at the start of June. The winner of the derby showdown will come up against lower league opposition with Falkirk and Inverness battling it out in the other last four tie as all clubs remaining dream of a return to Hampden in their quest to lift the famous old trophy.

Michael Beale and Ange Postecoglou have already gone head to head in Mount Florida this season with the Hoops coming out on top to retain their League Cup crown. Kyogo Furuhashi was the hero on the day with a double as his side ran out 2-1 winners. Alfredo Morelos grabbed a goal back but it wasn't enough as the bragging rights and celebrations headed for Parkhead.

Now the Scottish FA have confirmed that Rangers vs Celtic will take place on Sunday, April 30 with a kick-off time of 1:30pm live on Viaplay. While Falkirk vs Inverness will be on Saturday, April 29th with a kick-off of 12:15pm, live on BBC One Scotland and Viaplay.

There are three derby meetings between Glasgow's big two in the final months of this campaign with this semi-final joined by two Premiership matches. The next game is April 8 with a further fixture to be announced in due course once the final positions are determined for the league split.

The winner will be back at Hampden on June 3.

Rangers vs Celtic - Sunday, April 30 at 1.30pm.

Falkirk vs Inverness - Saturday, April 29 at 12.15pm.
