Rangers' transfer 'targets' profiled as Michael Beale ramps up summer recruitment drive

It's set to be a busy summer of transfer ins and outs at Rangers as Michael Beale gets set for his first full season.

The Ibrox gaffer came in late last year to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst and has quickly settled into life in the Glasgow fishbowl as the main man having experienced life at Ibrox as No2 under Steven Gerrard during his time in charge. A big change is on the horizon at the club with the new boss ready to put his own stamp on things with a summer recruitment drive.

Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin arrived in January to kick things off and Beale has stated a desire to add at least five new faces in the summer and ideally get his business done sharp with some new faces appearing at the first day of pre-season training. Champions League qualifiers will start early in the new campaign and the 42-year-old wants his squad in the best shape possible. A number of players could exit in the coming weeks including Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent with both out of contract. The talk of potential arrivals has already kicked off with Rangers linked with FOUR players this week alone.
