Rangers made a move for Saint Etienne's Gabon international Denis Bounga this transfer window, according to reports.
The winger is rated at £4 million and is said to be attracting interest from a number of clubs this summer. It's expected that he will leave the Ligue 2 club at some point during the summer as he only has one year left to run on his contract. Saint Etienne want a good fee for him but so far, nobody has come in to match their valuation.
Sides in Belgium, France, Germany and the USA according to Le 10 Sport have shown an interest in his services and Rangers are another who are believed to have made an enquiry over the player. A formal offer was not made in the end and it is not known whether or not that enquiry came before or after Rabbi Matondo and Tom Lawrence bolstered the flanks.
