Rangers have yet to kickstart their summer business but new players could be unveiled at Ibrox any day now as we enter the peak of the summer window. John Souttar is in the door but fans will be hoping for more than the former Hearts stopper this month.
Gio van Bronckhorst now has the chance to put his stamp on the squad that he led to the Europa League final and a Scottish Cup triumph last season. The Scottish Premiership will be next on the agenda for the Dutchman if he can make the right additions to the squad.
Isreali youngster Oscar Gloukh is the latest player to be linked with a move to Govan, after reports in France suggested the Ibrox scouts have been keeping tabs on the 18-year-old. The youngster is one of his county's brightest prospects and would come at a bumper £8million price if he was to move to the club.
Gloukh only made his first-team debut for Maccabi Tel Aviv last season and comes very highly-rated in his homeland. His star has only continued to rise as he stunned England at the youth Euro's with a strike for his country.
The prodigy spun away from the England defenders and shifted the ball in front of him, then lifted a wonderful finish beyond the goalkeeper in the first half. It won't just be the Rangers scouts watching Gloukh after that strike.
Meanwhile, the chase of Antonio Colak is continuing with reports in Greece stating PAOK are in no rush to sell this summer. BwinSPORT state that the club could hold off until the last weeks of the window before the cash-in on Colak.
The Ibrox side are desperate to snap up the Croatian international in a deal worth around £2 million, but are being frustrated by the Greek club refusing to sell until they find a replacement. Colak is currently in the Netherlands at PAOK's training camp and is keen on a move to the Europa League finalists.
The Greek outlet state that the club are "unhappy with the composition of their strikers." They note that they would quickly like to add "someone else" to their frontline, but could stick with Colak.
Rangers are also set to announce the addition of Zak Lovelace from Millwall. The highly-rated striker looks set to join up with the Colt team in the Lowland League initially.
Football Scotland note that Everton academy kid Cameron Bell will leave the English Premier League side for the Ibrox academy. He will also join up with the B team in the fifth tier.
