Michael Beale's Rangers transfer approach shows exactly what his plans are for the future of Ibrox.
That is the view of former Light Blues defender Alan Hutton who claims, despite only two new January recruits in Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin, that Beale is looking to add youth to his arsenal amid a relatively-ageing Rangers side. Cantwell has hit the ground running with starts and an assist while Belgian Raskin took his Ibrox bow against Ross County at the weekend.
And while the English boss wanted more from the transfer window, Beale did admit he hoped for more business in the summer as he assesses the full extent of his squad. Hutton believes the acquisition of Raskin, however, shows a plan to de-age Ibrox and admits he 'fits the mould'.
