Rangers have made an official approach for Feyenoord star Danilo, according to a report.
Michael Beale is desperate to add to his firepower following the exits of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield with Sam Lammers already making the move from Atalanta in a deal in the region of £3million earlier this month. Abdullah Sima is also believed to be on the verge of a move north of the border on a season long-loan deal and now The Herald report the Ibrox men have tabled a bid for another forward in the shape of the Brazilian.
The 24-year-old made the switch from Ajax to Feyenoord last summer and registered 14 goals and four assists in 48 appearances in all competitions. He picked up European experience in the Europa League and could now test himself in the Champions League should he complete a move to Govan.

Rangers are currently going through a summer overhaul with four players already in the door. Lammers has been joined by pre-contract trio Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland as Beale looks to build a squad to halt Celtic's domestic dominance.
