Giovanni van Bronckhorst has kept the faith with Jon McLaughlin as the Rangers boss made some big calls ahead of their Champions League clash with Ajax.
The Light Blues were hammered at the weekend by rivals Celtic in the first Old Firm derby of the season as Ange Postecoglou and his defending champions put down a major early season marker. James Tavernier has spoken in the build up at looking to bounce back and put things right after the Parkhead thumping as they bid to win in the Netherlands for the second time this season.
Rangers reached this stage of the competition by dumping out PSV - including victory in their own back yard. That is a result that will make Ajax sit up and take notice of the dangers the hurting Ibrox men can bring to the table. Liverpool and Napoli make up the section and with their impressive European run last season that included some big scalps and the big qualifying result in Eindhoven, Van Bronckhorst and his men will be confident of a successful night in Amsterdam.
