Michael Beale has named his first Rangers team as he returns to Ibrox as the main man.
Steven Gerrard's former No2 marks his debut in the hot seat this afternoon as Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen make the trip to Glasgow. It's the final game ahead of the Premiership action resuming next week with the Light Blues welcoming Hibs under the lights on Thursday night.
The hard work has been going down on the training pitch since the arrival of Beale following the decision to sack Dutchman Giovanni van Bronckhorst and now fans will get a first glimpse of what life promises to be like under the 42-year-old with his first team selection made. Speaking ahead of this one, the new Rangers boss said: "Every player this weekend will be given an opportunity. If I'm a fan, I wouldn't look too closely at the team that starts and think, 'that's what the management team will go with against Hibs'.

"I have told the players everyone will have an opportunity this weekend to show me they want to be part of things.
"We don't play friendlies. So it's not going to be flying into tackles but I want it to be focused and intense and I want the players to show me they want to be here and the role that they can play.
"Certainly in the attacking positions, where we have got a number of players, I am going to give everyone an opportunity to stake a claim."
RANGERS XI: McGregor, Tavernier, King, Sands, Devine, Jack, Kamara, Tillman, Matondo, Kent, Colak.
Subs: McLaughlin, McCrorie, Lundstram, Davis, Morelos, Wright, McCann, Sakala, Arfield, Fraser, Lowry.
