Rangers' Old Firm hero Ryan Naderi has been told he could yet make his debut for the Czech Republic this week, by their No.2 Radek Bejbl.
The striker netted the only goal of the game as Rangers completed back-to-back wins against Celtic, with a success at Parkhead.
Naderi is eligible to play for Germany and Bulgaria too, but has opted to play for the Czechs.
However, the Czech FA's general manager Pavel Nedved admitted last week that they were unable to call up Naderi for the upcoming Nations League games because of red tape.
The former Juventus and Lazio star revealed Naderi was so desperate to play, he had even travelled to the Czech embassy in the UK personally to present documents.
But Czech assistant manager Bejbl has advised Naderi that he may yet be included in their new Spanish manager Santi Denia's squad for their Nations League games against England home and away, Spain and Croatia.
They open their campaign with a game in Prague against Croatia.

And Bejbl said: "We are still very hopeful that we can get Ryan Naderi to play.
"And we are optimistic that it may happen in the coming days.
"If not, our thoughts will definitely be directed to him at the November meeting.
"He is showing very good performances for Rangers and is very interested in representing the Czech Republic."
