Rangers star Glen Kamara in 'wait and see' admission as he breaks transfer silence amid Nice links

Rangers star Glen Kamara dreams of playing in Europe's top five leagues admitting: 'They all interest me'.

The Light Blues midfielder - currently on international duty with Finland for their final Nations League games - was linked with a £10million transfer to French Ligue 1 outfit Nice, but the move never came to anything and he remained at Ibrox. The 26-year-old - who signed under former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard for just £50,000 - has found game-time harder to come by this season under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Kamara has played ten times so far this season in all competitions with a lot of his minutes coming from the bench. Despite his recent battle for first-team football regularly, the midfielder has enjoyed his time at the club but has left the door open for a transfer away from Rangers with a 'wait and see what happens' message.

He told Finnish publication Helsingin Sanomat: "I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League. And perhaps not just playing in the English Premier League, but in the top five leagues in general. They all interest me.

"Let's see what happens. My time at Rangers has been good. The club has been good to me. I've been there for almost four years. Who knows what the future will bring. Maybe we just have to wait and see what happens."

He continued: "The head coach decides the team. Whether I'm on the bench or on the pitch, I'll do my job. I work hard, I just have to keep doing it. That's the truth.

"Sometimes I know why I'm not in the starting line-up. I've talked to the manager sometimes after games or before a match. Of course, it's difficult to have full confidence when I don't get to play.

"I haven't played in that many games now or started many. It hasn't been easy. As I said, you have to keep working and then everything will be fine."
