Rangers star Alfredo Morelos continues road to recovery as he ditches downtime for gym work

Alfredo Morelos is continuing to work hard behind the scenes as he recovers from injury.

The Rangers star was ruled out for the remainder of the last campaign after suffering a knock on international duty with Colombia.

He required surgery on his thigh issue and ended up missing the Europa League run - including the final in Seville - and the Scottish Cup Final win over Hearts.

Morelos was present at both occasions as he mingled with fans in the Spanish city while he soaked up the atmosphere.

But he is hard at work in the gym as his Rangers team-mates enjoy their summer breaks.

Morelos was in full club training gear as he went through his paces.

It will come as a welcome sight to the Light Blues faithful as plans for the new season get underway.
