Rangers star Aaron Ramsey says he's been impressed by Alex Lowry's breakthrough into the first-team at Ibrox.
The Uddingston teenager notched an assist in Sunday's 3-0 Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Dundee, setting up Fashion Sakala for his side's third.
It comes off the back of his debut against Stirling Albion - in which he scored - earlier this year before impressing against Livingston and Annan Athletic.
Ramsey arrived in January as Rangers' superstar signing in midfield and admits the Lanarkshire teen is one player who's caught his eye since.
Asked about Lowry's breakthrough, Ramsey said : “You get a lot of good players coming through in a big club like this.
“It’s important to have that competition between ourselves.
“It’s nice for the younger players to come on and show what they can do. We have a lot of talented players here.”
