Rangers are set to bring Giovanni van Bronckhorst's time at Ibrox to an END - just over one year after the Dutchman took charge at the club.
The Daily Record report that the 47-year-old is on the brink of leaving with the club in talks with the boss over an exit. Pressure has been building on the former Feyenoord gaffer with a run of poor results and performances of late. They dropped points in draws with Livingston at Ibrox and on the road at St Mirren while they also tasted defeat at McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone.
Van Bronckhorst took the club into the Champions League group stages after successfully negotiating two rounds of qualifying against Union Saint-Gilloise and PSV but the campaign in the group stages ended with the club landing the unwanted tag as the 'worst ever' club in history in that stage of the competition.

Celtic and Ange Postecoglou hold a nine point advantage at the top of the Premiership standings after just 15 games due to the inconsistent run of results. He did take Rangers to the Europa League Final last season before a heartbreaking loss to Frankfurt on penalties in Seville. He also tasted domestic success in the Scottish Cup defeating Hearts.
But it now looks set that the Dutchman will depart Ibrox and the search for a new manager will get underway with the league in cold storage while the Qatar World Cup takes place.
Rangers return to domestic action on December 15 ageist Hibs but face a friendly with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen five days before at Ibrox.
Following the clash with the Hibees the Light Blues will come up against Aberdeen, Ross County and Motherwell before facing Celtic in the second Old Firm derby of the season on January 2.
