Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson is wanted by an English Premier League side, according to a report.
The 39-year-old - who has previously worked in England in senior football roles at the likes of Southampton - is being lined up in a similar position by Nottingham Forest who are said to be 'in contact' with the Light Blues and 'working on a deal' to land the Ibrox chief state The Athletic.
Wilson has been at the Light Blues since 2019 but has come in for some heavy criticism with banners displayed at recent matches calling for him to go alongside managing director Stewart Robertson. It's set to a big summer at Rangers with new boss Michael Beale ready to put his stamp on the side. That process began in January with the captures of Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin with the Ibrox boss stating he would like at least FIVE summer signings.

A number of high profile players including Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are yet to come to a decision over their futures either way but the 42-year-old has publicly stated his desire to hang on to the latter alongside midfield team-mate Ryan Jack.
Beale has previously admitted he has a strong relationship with Wilson and both are 'very aligned'. Speaking last month, he said: “There's been a lot of work the past couple of weeks. Speaking to players in house and also us sitting down and looking at the recruitment towards next year as well. As soon as we've got something to share we will share it.
"We are very aligned and I have a strong relationship with Ross. We are clear on our decisions and I have been for a number of weeks, and we will select the correct moment to communicate this. We have money to spend - a good amount for a Rangers manager, I think, and I'm really positive about the summer and the future.
"I appreciate that everyone wants us to communicate outwards which players we're signing and things like that. But it doesn't work like that. We have 10 games to go so I have to be respectful, to the players inside as well. There's a lot of moving parts in that."
