Rangers have come under question from a Forest Green Rovers chief over the transfer fee quoted for Charlie McCann.
The Ibrox youngster sealed the move to Forest Green this week, with Michael Beale allowing the midfielder to move on and he has now penned a long-term deal with the English League One side - who currently sit bottom of the table and face a relegation battle but have signed up Scottish coach Duncan Ferguson to lead the charge.
McCann admitted Rangers would long stay with him after impressive showings for the first team in Glasgow. But now there seems to have been some confliction between the two teams understanding of how much the 20-year-old's transfer was valued at.

The fee was believed to be £350,000 although the Ibrox claimed it was 'undisclosed' and added 'In addition to the undisclosed transfer fee, Rangers have retained a significant future sell-on percentage, as well as return options and matching rights on Charlie for the future’
Chairman Dale Vince, who wants to turn the Rovers in to the greenest club in the world, questioned the Ibrox side. He said: "That figure is what Rangers said. It isn’t true. It’s a fraction of that price."
